In the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh there was a mass brawl at a wedding because of the lack of dessert.
One of the wedding guests was outraged that he did not get the traditional sweet – rasgulla. After his comment, a scuffle broke out in which six people were injured.
All the injured were taken to hospital and are in stable condition. Police are investigating the incident. The incident took place on the night of Monday, November 20, in Shamshabad village near the city of Agra
Rasgulla is a traditional Indian sweet, delicate curd balls soaked in syrup. The states of West Bengal and Odisha (Orissa) are competing for the right to be considered the birthplace of the dessert.
