A New Yorker decided to undergo surgery to save her marriage and was left with lacerations. Because of the consequences of unsuccessful plastic surgeries, her husband left the woman.
54-year-old Dale Gaglio, who wanted to become more attractive, had breast augmentation surgery and abdominoplasty, on which she spent more than 14.6 thousand dollars . Waking up after the surgery, the woman discovered that she had two belly buttons, no front tooth and breasts of different sizes. In addition, an open wound was left on her back, from the lower part of which fat was removed during abdominoplasty. According to Gaglio, the hole in her back was so large that you “could put your hand through it and reach the spinal cord.”
The woman traveled to the hospital several times before a surgeon was able to stitch up the laceration. Doctors then fitted Gaglio with a device to drain the wound. The American woman admits that the scar on her back looked disgusting and gave off a foul odor. Because of this, the woman’s husband left her after 20 years of marriage. “He was disgusted with me,” says Gaglio.
After some time, the wound on the woman’s back healed, but her body was left with visible scars. Gaglio became insecure and now walks around in closed clothing all the time. She admits she regrets the plastic surgeries she had in an attempt to keep her husband. “I want women to know that you just have to love yourself for who you are. You don’t have to be perfect and have plastic surgery,” she states.
