In Finland, hospital staff in Uusimaa province caught a man-eating cat.
The animal, which fed on remains in the morgue, was caught by employees of a medical institution in the city of Vantaa. According to them, the cat had been entering the so-called temporary storage facility – an ordinary storage room in the courtyard, where cold rooms were installed.
The hospital refused to say how many dead people were damaged by the animal. It is specified that the cat was a street cat and did not belong to the clinic or any of the employees. At this point, it has been turned over to a shelter. “Judging by its shabby appearance and poor condition, no one wanted it,” said shelter employee Marie Aro.
Police are currently investigating the incident. They declined to comment on the incident, but said they would inform the public if new circumstances were discovered.
