In the U.S., a monkey that escaped from the owner was spotted drinking alcohol.
The monkey named Momo escaped from her owner in Indianapolis on Wednesday, October 4. After she went for a self-guided walk, she was seen about 400 meters from the owner’s home. A neighbor told police that he observed Momo sitting on a dumpster drinking beer from a can she pulled from there. It is not yet known if the monkey managed to bite anyone while on the loose.
Momo had already escaped from her owner in July. Then her owner even wrote about it on social networks. Later he informed subscribers that the monkey was found.
Indianapolis residents can keep wild or dangerous animals at home, as long as the owners register them with the Veterinary Inspection Service.
