NASA experts: UFO from declassified Pentagon video was an optical illusion
In the NASA report on the study of unidentified anomalous phenomena explained the origin of UFOs from one of the declassified Pentagon video. The document is published on the agency’s website.
The video, known as GoFast, shows an unidentified object moving over the ocean at tremendous speed. It was filmed in 2015 from a U.S. F/A-18 fighter jet taking off from the aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt. The video was mentioned during a July US congressional hearing. Former U.S. Navy Lt. Ryan Graves, who served in the same squadron, told congressmen that he and other pilots observed similar objects almost every day in 2014-2015. Eventually, they began to take UFOs for granted.
According to NASA experts, the object’s extraordinary speed is an optical illusion caused by parallax
from a flying fighter jet. Judging by some landmarks caught in the frame, the object was at an altitude of four thousand meters, and its true speed was about 65 kilometers per hour. This is about the same as the wind speed at that altitude. There was no indication that the object was propelled by jet propulsion. This suggests that it was carried by the wind.
